These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of CodeSlides. Please read them carefully before using our service.

By accessing, browsing, or using CodeSlides, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are not authorized to use CodeSlides.
These terms apply to all users, including developers, teachers, content creators, and visitors who access our service.
CodeSlides is a presentation platform that transforms your code into beautiful, interactive slides with syntax highlighting and customizable themes.
Our core features include: code-to-slide conversion, 30+ programming language support, beautiful themes, shareable presentation links, and export functionality.
We provide both free and paid subscription tiers with different feature limits and capabilities.
CodeSlides uses Google OAuth for secure authentication. When you sign in, Google provides us with your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture).
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account, as it controls access to your CodeSlides account.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental consent.
One person may not maintain multiple accounts, and accounts cannot be shared or transferred.
Free plan: Access to 3 themes, up to 5 slides per presentation, up to 10 projects total.
Pro plan ($5/month): Unlimited themes, unlimited slides, unlimited projects, priority support, and advanced export options.
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely through our payment providers.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: We provide pro-rated refunds for annual subscriptions cancelled within 30 days. Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable but we handle disputes on a case-by-case basis.
You retain full ownership of all code, text, and content you upload to CodeSlides ('Your Content').
By using CodeSlides, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, format, and present Your Content as necessary to provide the service.
This license includes the right to: host Your Content on our servers, display it in your presentations, enable sharing via public links (when you choose), create backups for service reliability, and process it for exports.
You can revoke this license by deleting your content or closing your account, though cached or backup copies may persist for up to 90 days.
You may not use CodeSlides to: upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content; infringe on others' intellectual property rights; spam, harass, or abuse other users; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code.
Additional restrictions: no automated scraping or data mining; no circumventing usage limits or security measures; no reselling or redistributing our service; no uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
CodeSlides owns all rights to our platform, including the website design, user interface, logos, branding, and underlying software code.
Our service includes licensed third-party components (syntax highlighters, themes, icons) which remain subject to their respective licenses.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of CodeSlides without explicit written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you: violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, compromise platform security, or use the service for illegal purposes.
You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.
Upon termination: your access stops immediately, your data is deleted according to our Privacy Policy, any remaining subscription time is handled per our refund policy.
We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (fraud prevention, legal compliance).
CodeSlides is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service.
We strive for high uptime but cannot guarantee 100% availability due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Your use of CodeSlides is at your own risk. We recommend keeping backups of important content.
CodeSlides's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for: indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; lost profits, data, or business opportunities; service interruptions or data loss; third-party actions or content.
Some jurisdictions don't allow liability limitations, so these may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold CodeSlides harmless from claims arising from: your use of the service, Your Content, violation of these terms, or violation of others' rights.
This includes reasonable legal fees and costs. We'll notify you of any such claims and may participate in defense at our option.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles.
For disputes under $10,000: We encourage informal resolution first. Contact us at legal@codeslides.com to discuss any issues.
For larger disputes: Any legal proceedings must be filed in the appropriate courts in Metro Manila, Philippines.
If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
We may update these terms periodically to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or business needs.
We'll notify you of material changes by email and by posting an updated version with a new effective date.
Continued use of CodeSlides after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
If you don't agree with changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
